The GATE 2014 Online Application Form has to be filled by candidates to appear for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. The Online GATE 2014 Application Form specifies the application form filling, procedure of applying, application fee and payment mode etc. A copy of theOnline GATE 2014 Application Form has to be sent to the respective zonal centre to complete the application process. GATE 2014 Online Application Form: available from September 2 to October 3, 2013
- The Online Application Form for GATE 2014 is available through the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS).
- Candidates have to register through the GOAPS website which can be accessed from the from the website of the GATE 2014 Organizing Institute OR the website of the respective Zonal GATE Offices

- Candidates are required to provide a valid email address, mobile number and a GOAPS password while filling in the Online Application Form of GATE 2014.
GOAPS Password: The password provided to the GOAPS during the Enrolment must be used to access any GATE 2014 related information. Candidates must choose the password wisely to avoid misuse.
GOAPS Enrolment ID: Upon successful enrolment, the GOAPS Enrolment ID will be communicated to the candidate through an email and an SMS. This is the ID to be by candidates used to log in for accessing the GATE 2014 related information.

- Personal Details like name date of birth, your personal mobile number, parent’s name, parent’s mobile number etc.
- Address for Communication (including PIN code)
- Degree Eligibility details including the College address, PIN code of college
- GATE paper (Candidates can attempt one paper only),

GATE 2014 Application Fee Payment Mode:
1. Online: Through Net Banking
2. Offline: At SBI or Syndicate Bank Branches. Payment can be made after 48 hours of the challan generation at the specified banks.
GATE 2014 Online Application Form:

- Enter all the particulars and make the payment as specified.
- After successful payment, the print out of the GATE 2014 Online Application form has to be taken.
GATE 2014 Printout of Online Application Form:
- Click the “Download Filled Application” option and print the two pages:
Page 1 contains the instructions to the candidates and the Address slip to send the printout of the Application Form to.
Page 2 contains the online Application form duly filled in as per the details entered by the candidate. - Note: The Online Application will contain the certificate to be signed by the college Principal or may be left blank (depending on the eligibility status).
Documents required along with the Printout of the Online GATE 2014 Application Form:
- Degree Certificate/ Provisional Certificate/ Course Completion Certificate
- Category Certificate for SC/ST/PD candidates if applicable issued by the specified authorities.
- Applicants who require a scribe to assist writing the exam, also need to provide a valid PD certificate.
- PD Category Certificate to be verified during admission
- Certificate from Principal with the principal’s signature and seal
- Bank Challan in case of offline Payment of Application Fees
GATE 2014 Submission of the Printout of the Online Application Form: before October 10, 2013
- Candidates have to paste a standard passport size color photograph in the space provided, and sign the application in the box provided.
- Note: This photograph and signature should EXACTLY match with the photograph and signature uploaded electronically on GOAPS else the application is liable to be rejected if there is any mismatch between the two!
- Use an A4 size envelope and put the Application Form printout duly signed with photograph and the above mentioned documents.
- Do not fold the application form
- Affix the Address Slip provided during the printing of the Online application form on the envelope.
- The Address Slip provided to each candidate contains a barcode required to process the applications and therefore differ from candidate to candidate. Hence candidates must take care to use the one provided to them.
- Send the Application form sealed as mentioned above by Speed Post (preferably) or by Registered Post to the address mentioned in the Address Slip. Candidates can even submit the Application form in person.
- Important: candidates are advised to keep a copy of Page 2 of the Application form for future reference.
